Fat is the fuel, not sugar
Protein bars run on sugar. It's high protein, sure, but the crash is built in. Ours burns 20g of rendered fat and 10g of protein. Hours of steady energy without the crash.

Three core ingredients. Just like our ancestors consumed, built for the modern day. Here's what you're actually eating.
Protein bars run on sugar. It's high protein, sure, but the crash is built in. Ours burns 20g of rendered fat and 10g of protein. Hours of steady energy without the crash.
Meat, fat, salt. That's it. A bit of honey and fruit in some flavors. We don't bolster protein with processed isolates or whey, or stabilize it with sugar alcohols and gums. Just food.
Savory, rich, and fatty. For the Apple Pie and Blueberry Thyme lovers, we add a hint of sweetness with raw honey and fruit. But this is nothing like the granola or candy aisle.
Pemmican fed Native American tribes, fur traders, and Arctic expeditions for centuries before anyone shrink-wrapped a protein bar. We didn't invent this, but we did perfect it.
The Everyday Bar makes real, nutrient-dense food more accessible for everyday life without compromising on quality. Its convenient 1 oz (30 g) portion is designed for work, travel, the outdoors, or any time you need real food close at hand.
Inspired by founder Phillip Meece's experience as a military medic, it was developed around a simple belief: good nutrition should not be a luxury.
The Everyday Bar is 1 oz, compared with the 2 oz OG bar. It pairs 100% beef with grass-finished tallow and uses a more efficient manufacturing process, helping bring the price down from roughly $16 per OG bar to $6 for the Everyday Bar.
The changes come down to three things: the beef and tallow sourcing, removing about 80% of the previous manufacturing labor, and making the bar half the size. It remains veteran-owned and made in America.
Meat is naturally 70 to 80% water, so moisture control is essential for safety and shelf stability. USDA guidelines identify 0.85 water activity as a critical threshold above which mold and bacterial growth can occur.
The Carnivore Bar uses a water activity meter to verify the product remains below 0.3 water activity. That dry, controlled state is central to true pemmican's long shelf life.
The Everyday Bar uses 100% beef with no additives, paired with carefully sourced grass-finished beef tallow. The beef is tested to ensure it is free from antibiotics.
Grass-finished tallow naturally contains fatty acid compounds including CLA and stearic acid, along with trace omega-3s. The goal is a simple, accessible whole-food option with strong ingredient integrity.
Sweetened flavors use real food only, including raw honey sourced from Sleeping Bear Farms. The formula avoids stevia, monk fruit, erythritol, sucralose, and allulose.
For a zero-sugar option, choose Salted.
Potatoes have a long history as a traditional, energy-dense survival food. When cooked, cooled, and properly prepared, they can also develop resistant starch that supports beneficial gut bacteria.
Potato Ranch is not part of the current three-flavor lineup.
Yes. The current Salted, Apple Pie, and Blueberry Lemon Thyme Everyday Bars are gluten-free, dairy-free, and lactose-free.
No. The Everyday Bar is designed with histamine sensitivity in mind. Histamine in beef can increase with extended aging. The controlled sourcing and production process helps manage histamine levels and maintain consistency.
The Everyday Bar is designed as survival food, not a conventional protein snack. Fat provides sustained fuel and supports satiety, while protein supplies a bioavailable amino acid profile.
The fat-forward formula reflects the role animal fat has historically played in energy balance and long-duration nutrition.
The current Everyday Bar lineup includes Salted, Apple Pie, and Blueberry Lemon Thyme.
Yes. The wrapper is a multilayer composite with a high-grade metalized food-contact film similar to Mylar. It is designed to block oxygen and moisture, which is critical to the product's shelf stability, longevity, and fresh delivery.
Real beef is a whole food with a naturally complete amino acid profile. Unlike isolated or blended proteins, it delivers protein together with naturally occurring nutrients such as L-carnitine, vitamin B12, and minerals in their intact food form.
The Everyday Bar is built as real food, not a protein supplement.
Protein is commonly estimated with Kjeldahl or Dumas testing, which measures total nitrogen and converts it to an estimated protein value. It does not directly measure amino acid quality or bioavailability.
That means inexpensive nitrogen-containing compounds or free-form amino acids can raise the measured number without adding the same amount of complete, high-quality protein. The Everyday Bar relies on real beef instead.
No. The Everyday Bar does not use shelf stabilizers, fillers, preservatives, proprietary blends, or added amino acids to inflate protein content. Its shelf stability comes from the pemmican-style formulation and controlled production process.

* Protein is measured by nitrogen content, so cheap nitrogen-bearing compounds can inflate the number on the label. Ours can't be gamed. It's just beef.
Heme iron, B12, zinc, and the fat-soluble vitamins that only come with fats. Nutrition your body absorbs versus synthetic isolates.
Slow-rendered, small-batch, made by hand with love in America. The process is what makes our food shelf-stable without preservatives.
Food when you need it most. Glovebox, gym bag, lunchbox, or carry-on luggage. Anywhere the only other option is fake food.
Over a million sold since Phillip came home from Afghanistan and started making them by hand.
A cow's diet shows up in its fat long before anywhere else. Ours ate grass start to finish.
Most bars are filled with whey, isolates, gums, or sugar alcohols, the things most people can't digest. We skip the bloat.
Every once in a while I’ll chomp one or two of [the Everyday Bars]. It’s super convenient.
Deeply satisfying in a way that plant or protein powder bars just can't touch.
If you are traveling, camping, hiking, at the airport, or just need something on the go, these are really great.
Phillip Meece joined the Army healthy and came home from Afghanistan sick and depleted. Meat helped bring him back to health, but finding a simple way to eat it wherever he was proved difficult.
He turned to pemmican, the meat-and-fat ration that fed tribes, fur traders, and Arctic expeditions for centuries. Making a stone-age food work on a modern production line took years and more than a dozen failed experiments.
Seven years later, it is still the only thing we make: real meat you can eat anywhere, made by hand, with nothing in it that should not be.
