SICKNESS IS BIG BUSINESS: PROFIT OVER HEALTH.

Let’s call it what it is: modern healthcare is a gold mine, not a lifeline.

Let’s call it what it is: modern healthcare is a gold mine, not a lifeline.

Prescription drugs don’t fix the root cause of disease—they manage symptoms. Sometimes they even cause new ones. Why? Because there’s more money in keeping you sick than in actually getting you well.

That daily prescription? That monthly refill? That yearly follow-up? It’s all part of a revenue model that thrives on chronic disease and repeat customers.

And here’s the kicker—medical errors and prescription drugs are now the THIRD leading cause of death in the U.S., behind only heart disease and cancer. Yet, somehow, it’s taboo to talk about.

So let’s talk about it.

1. Congrats to Pfizer…

Let’s start with a round of applause for Pfizer, whose 2022 profits broke records.

The company pulled in over $100 billion in revenue that year, thanks in part to its COVID-19 vaccine rollout and a steady flow of prescription drug sales1. If you think that kind of money is just a result of innovation, think again.

Much of it rides on a business model built around chronic disease—and the “solution” isn’t curing it. It’s treating it forever.

Chronic conditions like high blood pressure, Type 2 diabetes, and autoimmune disorders are rarely resolved through pharmaceutical intervention. They’re managed. Like a subscription service… for your organs.

2. A Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Quote Comes to Mind…

RFK Jr. once said:

“The pharmaceutical industry is not a trustworth industry, theyre really a criminal cartel.”

That might sound dramatic—but look at the numbers. Pharma spends billions on lobbying. And the medical schools shaping tomorrow’s doctors? Many are funded in part by these same companies.

We’ve built a system that rewards ongoing illness and dependency over true healing.

3. We Need This Sign Outside Every Doctor’s Office:

Imagine walking into your doctor’s office and seeing this posted on the wall:

“WARNING: This establishment does not address root causes. Side effects may include additional prescriptions.”

Because here’s the truth: most conventional doctors are trained to prescribe, not prevent. They get little to no education in nutrition or lifestyle modification. Instead, their toolkit is filled with pharmaceutical solutions for dietary and environmental problems.

That rash? Cream.
That anxiety? Pill.
That inflammation? NSAID.
That insulin resistance? More meds.

You’d almost think food and movement don’t matter.

4. Did You Know? The FDA and Pharma Are Basically Roommates

We expect the FDA to protect us. But did you know that up to 75% of its drug evaluation budget comes from the pharmaceutical industry itself through something called user fees2?

That’s like asking the bartender to decide whether you’ve had enough.

This cozy relationship means drugs often get fast-tracked and safety concerns get swept under the rug. Remember Vioxx? It killed an estimated 60,000 people before being pulled from the market. And that wasn’t a fluke—it was a symptom of systemic failure.

5. So Let’s Get This Straight… In the U.S., Medical Errors and Prescription Drugs Are the Third Leading Cause of Death?

Yes. You read that correctly.

According to research from Johns Hopkins, medical errors—including incorrect medications, misdiagnoses, and botched procedures—are responsible for over 250,000 deaths per year3. That places it just behind cancer and heart disease as a leading cause of death in the United States.

And that doesn’t even include correctly prescribed medications that lead to side effects, hospitalizations, or long-term damage.

But where’s the outcry?

6. “My Doctors…”

My Doctors:

  • sunlight

  • red meat and eggs

  • organ meats

  • sleep

  • nature

  • walking

  • grounding

  • exercise

  • friends and family

  • carnivore bars

Doctors are often doing the best they can—but they're operating in a system that incentivizes pills, not prevention.

And let’s not forget: even the best-intentioned doctor has 15 minutes to figure you out, check a box, and write a prescription. Meanwhile, your body is reacting to years of processed food, toxic seed oils, artificial light, stress, sleep deprivation, and sugar.

That can’t be solved with a statin.

So What Can You Do?

Don’t wait for the system to save you.

Get back to basics. Move daily. Sleep deeply. Eat real, ancestral food—like the kind found in a Carnivore Bar, made with grass-fed beef and tallow. Say no to processed junk, inflammatory seed oils, and ultra-refined carbs. Your plate is your prescription pad.

When you reclaim your health, you reclaim your independence.
Because nothing says rebellion like a well-functioning liver and rock-solid blood sugar.
