How is this different from other survival bars I've seen?
Most emergency food bars (Datrex, SOS, Mainstay) are compressed sugar and shortening — Coast Guard lifeboat rations designed for bare-minimum survival, not sustained nutrition.
The Carnivore Bar is pemmican: grass-fed beef, grass-fed tallow, with different flavors. Each bar is 400+ calories with 18+ bioavailable vitamins and minerals. It's the difference between barely surviving and actually maintaining physical and cognitive function during extended disruption.
How is this different from other pemmican bars I've seen?
Firstly, we use grass-fed, grass-finished beef from Regenerative American Ranches that rebuild soil health while raising cattle the way nature intended. No feedlots. No shortcuts.
Secondly, our proprietary manufacturing process — from freeze-drying to wrapping —- is all optimized to prolong shelf-stability, no matter the storage conditions.
Third, there are absolutely zero preservatives or fillers.

Will my family actually eat this?

We also use beef from Regenerative American Ranches. This simply means they have healthy-soil practices, while raising cattle the way nature intended. No feedlots. No shortcuts. This produces a better flavor profile from our taste-tests. And although it's pricier, it’s worth the investment because we only want the highest quality beef we can get.
Can't I just make pemmican myself?
You can. Many of our customers have. They'll also tell you it takes significant time, produces inconsistent results, and amateur packaging doesn't achieve the shelf stability of our unique freeze-drying process and hermetic sealing process. If you want iron-clad confidence that your emergency nutrition will actually perform in 10 or 20 years, this is worth outsourcing to people who've spent years perfecting the process through over a dozen manufacturing iterations.
Can I store this in my car? What about extreme heat?
Yes. The bars may soften in extreme heat, but remain completely shelf-stable.
The hermetic seal prevents any oxygen or moisture from entering, regardless of temperature. This makes sure to prolong its shelf life, no matter its storage conditions.
The tri-layer wrapper keeps your pemmican bars safe well beyond any temperature your vehicle will reach. Plus, the food-safe metallized layer locks in the pemmican bar’s nutritional contents, while keeping your bars safe from the outside world.
What about the wrapper — is it safe?
The wrapper has three layers.
The layer that touches the pemmican bar is the food-safe metallized layer.
The second layer is food-safe polyethylene terephthalate (PET) — the safest food-grade plastic available. It does not contain orthophthalates (the endocrine disruptors used to soften other plastics). Extensive biochemistry research went into selecting this specific barrier material.
The third layer is just for the art.
What is your shipping and return policy?
We recognize Carnivore Bar is unlike most products you've purchased, and we want you set up for success. Each bar goes through a full week of production, from sourcing hand-selected cuts to the final seal, crafted to be kept, not returned. That said, every sale is final. No refunds. No returns. No exchanges. The only exception is a confirmed manufacturing defect; taste or texture preference falls outside the scope of this policy.
Our bars are real food, formulated for long-term shelf storage and emergency preparedness. Once an order leaves our facility, supply-chain integrity prevents it from being received back, resold, or redistributed, which is why every transaction is permanent.

How much should I get?
